Law and Finance Senior Practitioner Lectures

About the Group

The Law and Finance Senior Practitioner Lectures provide a forum for interaction between Faculty, students and distinguished practitioners, policymakers and business leaders working at the intersection of law and finance. Lectures are given on a wide variety of subjects including, amongst many others, financial markets and regulation, insolvency and debt restructuring and financial law and development.

Recent speakers have included Dr Frederique Dahan (The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development); Jeffrey Golden (Allen & Overy and the LSE), Hector Sants (FSA) and Chris Hale (Travers Smith).

Faculty and students are welcome to attend the seminars. The typical format is for 40 minutes' presentation by the speaker followed by 40-50 minutes' discussion of the issues raised.
