Obligations Discussion Group

About the Group

The Obligations Discussion Group provides a forum for the discussion and exchange of ideas and research in all areas of private law, particularly the core areas of the law of obligations such as torts, contract, trusts and unjust enrichment.

The group is open to all faculty members and graduate students and meets regularly each term for lunchtime and evening meetings. The meetings usually comprise the presentation of a paper or work-in-progress from speakers both within and outside the faculty.

We welcome suggestions for topics and potential speakers.
