Public International Law Discussion Group
About the Group
The Public International Law Discussion Group at the University of Oxford hosts a weekly speaker event and light lunch at New College, Oxford. Topics involve contemporary and challenging issues in international law. Speakers include distinguished international law practitioners, academics, and legal advisers from around the world.
The group typically meets each Thursday during Oxford terms in Lecture Room 6 in New College, with lunch commencing at 12:30, the speaker commencing at 12:50 and concluding by 1:30, allowing about 20 minutes for questions and discussion. Attendance and lunch at these events is free and no RSVP is necessary. Practitioners, academics and students from within and outside the University of Oxford are all welcome.
