European Contract Law: the Draft of the Expert Group and the Common Frame of Reference

On 3 May the European Commission published the Expert Group on European Contract Law's draft of a future instrument in European contract law. Professor Hugh Beale of the University of Warwick, one of the members of the Expert Group, will explain the main features of the draft, its relationship to the Draft Common Frame of Reference and to a potential future Common Frame of Reference.
