Understanding the Constitutional Status and Impact of the HRA 1998
Speaker: Mr. Nicholas Bamforth, Queen's College, Oxford

Mr. Bamforth will explore judicial attitudes towards sovereignty before and since the adoption of the HRA 1998, arguing that it is better to understand the HRA 1998 as having a constitutional impact on statutory and common law interpretation rather than on sovereignty.
