Pirates at the Tea Party? Copyright’s Strange Bedfellows

To what extent does political ideology influence views on copyright policy? Is there any correlation between party politics and peoples’ positions on copyright? This talk will examine why copyright has usually been viewed as an apolitical subject, using examples from Anglo-American copyright history, and explain why this can no longer be the case in the future.
