Police & Crime Commissioners: Learning Lessons from the United States

Speaker: Detective Inspector Jayme Johnson, London Metropolitan Police Service

Venue: Manor Road Social Sciences Building Seminar Room G

D/I Johnson was recently at George Mason University undertaking a study of of elected police leaders in the USA, and will present his results here as they relate to the new Police and Crime Commissioners in England and Wales.  After his presentation, D/I Katy Barrow-Grint from Thames Valley Police will lead a discussion and debate for the remainder of the session.

The presentation will be attended by members of Thames Valley Police, and there are spaces for approximately 20 further participants from the Oxford community. If you are interested in attending, please contact Chris Giacomantonio to secure a place.
