Oxford Law Alumni Lectures
Speaker: Professor Ewan McKendrick & Mr John Cartwright, University of Oxford

These two lectures for Oxford Alumni will examine two important areas of commercial contract law. Mr Cartwright, Reader in the Law of Contract, will speak on "Precontractual liability and letters of intent". Professor McKendrick, Professor of English Private Law and Chair of the Law Board, will speak on "The Interpretation of Commercial Contracts after Lord Hoffmann's Re-Statement in Investors Compensation Scheme". Attendance by barristers or solicitors will be worth 2CPD points. The total cost of the two lectures (including handouts) is £100.
