Grant Lamond

is Fellow and Tutor in Law at Balliol College. He studied philosophy and law at Sydney University after which he worked as the Associate to the Chief Justice of the Australian Federal Court.  He took the BCL at Magdalen College, Oxford, and was a Junior Research Fellow at St Edmund Hall, Oxford, where he completed a doctorate on practical reasoning.  He has taught at Melbourne University and King’s College London.  His research interests lie in the philosophy of law and the philosophical foundations of criminal law.
