Oxford Mooting
LRMSP Moots
The Legal Research and Mooting Skills Programme is designed to help new law students learn about the structure of legal resources and how to use them efficiently. Successful completion of all aspects of the programme is essential for all FHS Jurisprudence students (inc senior status students). One of its components is the Mooting Skills component, completed in Trinity Term, which also serves as Part One – the Freshers' Competition – of the cuppers (inter-collegiate) mooting competition.
To pass the Mooting Skills component, first year undergraduates and senior status students must attend an introductory lecture and a mooting research class, submit lists of authorities and skeleton arguments and take part in a moot. Each student in a winning team wins a point for his or her College.
This mooting programme takes place in Trinity Term. For further details, contact Sandra Meredith at sandra.meredith@law.ox.ac.uk
- This competition is open to undergraduate students.
