The Law Faculty’s Moot Court Programme and the Oxford Bar Society jointly organised a two-hour mooting workshop on the 9th of November 2012. Over sixty freshers were in attendance. The workshop involved a demonstration moot in which four experienced student mooters participated. Benjamin Spagnolo constituted the bench. Afterwards, Erik Labelle Eastaugh (Keble), a graduate student, commented upon the performance of the mooters, spoke about the essentials of mooting, and fielded questions from the students. The workshop concluded with a discussion by Gautam Bhatia (Balliol) of the Cuppers and the Shearman & Sterling competitions.
