Dorota Leczykiewicz (Trinity College) has been awarded a three-year Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship, to start in Michaelmas Term 2011, entitled "Applying EU norms against individuals". The project investigates the concepts and principles which govern the applicability of EU norms against individuals, to identify the inherent limits of this applicability, such as those stemming from the established doctrines of EU law, the limited legitimacy of the EU legal order, general principles of law and relevant political considerations.
