The St Hilda's Law Society Michaelmas Mooting Competition took place for the first time this year. With the sponsorship of 7 King's Bench Walk, a leading commercial set, 30 participants took part in the 4 round, single elimination competition concerning the law of contract and tort. The standard of mooting was excellent. The organisers were grateful to the postgraduates and practitioners who help to judge the competition. In a hotly contested final, Lauren Kreamer and Matt McGhee (both of Magdalen) edged in front of Ervin Tan (St Hilda's) and Ryan Lim (Trinity) to take the title. The organisers like to thank all those who took part in the competition and also 7KBW for their sponsorship.
