How to get involved

There are many ways to get involved with OLA:

  1. The Oxford Legal Assistance Immigration Law moot. This is open to all undergraduates and the inaugural moot will take place in 2nd week of Trinity 2012. More information about how to take part will be sent through.

  2. Attend our events. OLA regularly hosts talks about the role of legal aid in society. Recently we held a talk given by the UNHCR’s UK legal officer and Baker & McKenzie.

  3. Join the committee. If you are currently a first year undergraduate you can apply to be part of OLA’s executive committee. In Trinity OLA will be appointing its executive committee for 2012-13. See Organisation for details of the current committee.

  4. Volunteer. If you are currently a first year undergraduate you can apply to be a volunteer. In late Trinity the new executive committee will be selecting volunteers to take part in OLA’s 2012-13 projects. View the experiences of past volunteers
