Horst Eidenmüller

Visiting Professor

Horst Eidenm?r joined the Faculty of Law as a Visiting Professor in October 2009. A graduate of Cambridge (LLM 1989) and Munich University, Horst has held a research professorship at Munich University since 2003. The focus of his work is on company and insolvency law and on dispute resolution. He is known for his economic and empirical studies of important legal issues in these fields. Horst is a member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, a Research Associate of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) and a former fellow of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Berlin. He is a member of an expert committee that advises the German Justice Ministry on issues of company and insolvency law reform. In 2011 he was a visiting professor at Harvard Law School. In Oxford he lectures on Corporate Insolvency Law and on Comparative and European Corporate Law.
