Visiting Professor

Murray Hunt is a Visiting Professor from 1st January 2011, working on the AHRC funded research project on 'Parliaments and Human Rights'. He is currently Legal Advisor to the UK Parliament's Joint Committee on Human Rights. He was a key founding member of Matrix Chambers, London and has specialised in human rights law and public law.

New report on parliamentary engagement with human rights

A new report finds that while there has been an increase in the UK parliament's involvement in debates about human rights over the last decade, and in the quality of that debate, there is still considerable scope for parliament to have a bigger role in engaging with human rights.

Parliament and Human Rights project led by Oxford
