Professor Sandra Fredman, Director of the Oxford Human Rights Hub, will be speaking at a seminar organised by the World Bank's Office of the Chief Economist for Human Development in Washington on 20 May. The seminar will explore discrimination and the informal economy as part of the World Bank's focus on 'Rights and Jobs', the theme of its 2013 World Development Report. Professor Fredman's presentation will be based on her paper, 'Anti-Discrimination Laws and Work in the Developing World', which assisted the World Bank in preparing the 2013 Report.
