Nicolás Espejo-Yaksic Nicolás Espejo-Yaksic, LL.B. (Diego Portales), M.St. (Oxon), Ph.D. (Warwick) is Professor of Law (Universidad Central de Chile), Children Rights Consultant for UNICEF in Latin America and Visiting Fellow, Kellogg College, Oxford University. Professor Espejo has been Representative in Chile of the Centre for Justice and International Law (CEJIL), co-founder and Director of the Human Rights Centre at Diego Portales University (Chile) and visiting scholar in several academic institutions in Europe and America. He has written on legal theory, legal education and international human rights law both in Chile and abroad and litigated human rights law cases before the Inter-Commission and Court of Human Rights.
