Trip to a major London law firm

All of the students were thrilled to visit a law firm in London for the day. One group of students was hosted by Allen & Overy LLP, and the other by Hogan Lovells LLP.

The students particularly enjoyed their time at these law firms, which was a chance to think about where the study of law might lead. 

The firms were very welcoming, encouraging students to ask questions, taking them on a tour of their buildings, and providing time for the students to talk to trainees, several of whom have recently graduated from studying law at Oxford.

Some students also received basic negotiations skills training before having a go at negotiating a mock deal themselves.
