The Dean’s Scholars Fund has allowed me to focus fully on my doctoral work and to engage with academic life at Oxford. My doctoral project examines whether transnational corporations should bear responsibility towards LGBT+ rights in jurisdictions where such rights are criminalised or normatively contested. I have been fortunate to receive incisive supervision from my doctoral supervisor, whose guidance has been invaluable in shaping my research.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the donors who support the Fund. Their generosity has allowed me to focus on my doctoral research and engage deeply with the academic and wider community at Oxford without financial concern. Thanks to their support, I can pursue work that I believe can make a meaningful contribution to human rights scholarship and practice.

After completing my DPhil at Oxford, I hope to take up a postdoctoral position that allows me to further develop my research. Ultimately, I aim to join academia, where I can teach, mentor students, and contribute to meaningful research especially in the field of LGBT+ rights.
