Academic Affiliates of the Bonavero Institute

The Bonavero Institute of Human Rights invites academics and researchers at the University of Oxford to become academic affiliates of the Bonavero Institute.  Academic affiliates will be engaged in some teaching or research in the broad field of human rights and will ordinarily have an established relationship with the Bonavero Institute.  Academic affiliation with the Bonavero Institute will be for renewable periods of three years.

Academic affiliates of the Bonavero Institute will have the opportunity to participate in many of the activities of the Bonavero Institute and will be encouraged to contribute to the Bonavero Institute’s collegial research environment.  Academic affiliates may be sponsors of Visiting Researchers at the Bonavero Institute (see the Visiting Researcher programme).  

Applications for academic affiliate status should be made to the Director of the Institute and will be approved by the Bonavero Institute’s Management Committee, which meets termly in week 5.

ACADEMIC AFFILIATES OF THE INSTITUTE WILL BE ABLE TO:
  • Link their personal profile to the Bonavero Institute's website
  • Have recent publications and media appearances shared via the Bonavero Institute's social media networks (on specific request)
  • Act as a ‘Research Visitor' sponsor
  • Make use of the venues at the Bonavero Institute based at Mansfield College (subject to availability)
