South Africa’s Constitutional Project @30: Examining 30 years of jurisprudence under South Africa’s democratic constitution
The South African Constitutional Court heard its first case in February 1994 and handed down its first judgment in April 1994. In its first 30 years, the Court delivered nearly 1000 substantive judgments. This research project, led by Catherine O’Regan, is undertaking an examination of the jurisprudence of the court in its first 30 years.
