Dear Prospective Participants, Coaches and Judges of the Price Moot,
We hope you are all healthy and well in these difficult and uncertain times. As you all are no doubt aware, the global pandemic has continued to spread across the world in these past few months, making international travel practically impossible.
At the outset, we thank you for your engagement with the current Price Moot Competition Case that draws on pressing issues in human rights - particularly in respect of freedom of expression and movement. These issues have contemporary relevance given governments' recent measures to respond to Covid-19. We are thus keen to keep the Price Moot alive in these trying times.
Despite our most optimistic estimates regarding the state of the world in early 2021, given the global reach of the moot, it is highly unlikely to imagine that it will be possible for all participants to travel to our numerous Regional Rounds and to Oxford for the International Finals. We have thus taken the decision to move all of our Regional and the International Rounds of the Price Moot online in its entirety.
In respect of the Regional Rounds that serve as qualifiers for the International Rounds, we are in touch with Regional Coordinators to determine the possibilities available to us in each region. We will publish more details as well as timelines for oral rounds and memorial submissions in due course.
We thank you for your patience and continued engagement with the Price Moot. As always do get in touch with us if you have any questions or concerns.
Warm wishes and stay safe and healthy

The Competition is currently comprised of seven Regional Rounds (South Asia, Asia-Pacific, South East Europe, North East Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas) and the selective International Rounds held in Oxford, gathering participants from countries as diverse as Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Lebanon, the Philippines, Serbia, Trinidad and Tobago, Ukraine, the UK and the USA.
