Communications Officer, Oxford Human Rights Hub
Grade 5: £16.92 - £19.67 per hour
Professor Sandra Fredman, Director of the Oxford Human Rights Hub (OHRH), is looking for a Communications Officer to assist in communications for the OHRH. The Oxford Human Rights Hub brings together academics, practitioners, and policy-makers from across the globe to advance the understanding and protection of human rights and equality.
The postholder will manage their own administrative activities, within guidelines provided by the Principal Investigator, manage the Oxford Human Rights Hub’s social media accounts, create social media promotions and other visual content using graphic design tools and report on user engagement with the website and social media profiles and consider how to improve these.
Candidates will hold a postgraduate degree in Law, Public Policy, or a similar subject, have the ability to manage their own work, excellent communication skills and familiarity with WordPress websites. It is desirable for candidate to have experience in designing communication strategies.
The role is fixed term until 31 March 2027 and is offered on a variable hours basis. Payment will be made on submission of monthly timesheets.
