Admissions and Outreach Officer (maternity cover)

Grade 5: £24,983-£29.799 per annum

Applications are invited for the full time position of Admissions and Outreach Officer.  The postholder will provide administrative support to the Faculty for all aspects of undergraduate admissions and support and develop the Faculty’s outreach provision, promoting the study of Law at university to the widest possible range of potential students through a range of access initiatives.  The postholder will work closely as a team with the Baker McKenzie Access Officer. 

Applicants must have a good level of education and previous experience in a similar role;  be capable of using a variety of software systems to understand and support a range of administrative systems and processes; the ability to work independently and as part of team; strong organisation skills and a flexible and confident approach.

There are a few times in the year when overtime will be required, in particular during the busiest days of the Undergraduate Admissions exercise in November and December, and some evenings and weekend events.  Some travel away from Oxford will be required, for example day trips to London with the summer school participants. 

This is a fixed-term post arising from the maternity leave of the current postholder and it would be an ideal secondment opportunity.
