The Bonavero Institute of Human Rights are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to commence as soon as possible.  The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day transactional and finance tasks and support the Institute Administrator, Price Moot Administrator and the Events and Communications Officer. The Finance Assistant will also liaise closely with the Finance Assistant and Finance Manager at the Faculty of Law.  The Finance Assistant will work in the Bonavero Institute Administration Office, reporting to the Institute Administrator.

Applicants must have experience of financial administration in a large organisation; be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent; competent at summarising and presenting financial data and highly numerate, with experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and databases; be able to organise own workload, work to deadlines and able to generate high volumes of accurate work, with high attention to detail.  Understanding or experience of the University’s Oracle financial system will be an advantage.

This post is permanent and part-time (21.9 hours per week or 0.6 FTE)
