Blackstone Human Rights Moot Court Competition 2019 : Call for Volunteers

The competition, in collaboration with the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, Oxford Lawyers Without Borders and Mooting at Law, takes place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 February.  It will act as a selection process to determine the team that will represent Oxford at the 11th Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot in Geneva.  Volunteers must be available on either the morning of 16 February (provisionally: 9.30am-1pm) or the afternoon of 17 February (provisionally: 2.45pm-6pm) and will be assigned to one of two roles of clerk and usher.

Blackstone Human Rights Moot Court Competition 2019 : Call for Coach

The competition, in collaboration with the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, Oxford Lawyers Without Borders and Mooting at Law, takes place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 February.  It will act as a selection process to determine the team that will represent Oxford at the 11th Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot in Geneva.  We are looking for a coach to provide general instruction to the moot team and help with the organisation and recruitment of judges.

In order to run this year's competition as well we are dependent on BCLs, MLFs, DPhils, and MPhils who are working on or are interested in international and comparative human rights law.

Associate Professorship in International Human Rights Law, University of Oxford - Department for Continuing Education and Kellogg College

The University of Oxford is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in International Human Rights Law, to commence from 1 September 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment is to a post held by the Department for Continuing Education, with membership of the Law Faculty, and based at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights Law, Oxford. The post holder will benefit from a Fellowship at Kellogg College, including rights of Common Table, free access to College and Guest Night dinners and all relevant social facilities, and an academic allowance of approximately £1,000 pa. The post holder will have an office at the Bonavero Institute, and the Department for Continuing Education.
