This scheme provides small grants (<£2.5K) for events or meetings to bring together academics with external non-academic stakeholders in meaningful and productive two-way discussions.

The grants are intended as a first step in developing new collaborative relationships with non-academics that will open up opportunities for new projects.

Amount: Up to 2.5K

Eligibility: Oxford academics in any department/faculty carrying out social science research which fully engages non-academic external partners

KE Dialogues - GCRF Highlight notice

The IAA are looking to fund GCRF KE dialogues schemes which build relationships between academic and non-academic stakeholders that will develop the potential of researchers to contribute to the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) agenda.

The GCRF is a £1.5 billion funding stream, supporting cutting-edge research which addresses the problems faced by developing countries. It forms part of the UK's Official Development Assistance (ODA) commitment.

These grants can be up to £7.5K (rather than the usual £2.5K) to enable international travel.  

Applications under this scheme must have the aim of building relationships with academic and non-academic stakeholders, promote economic development and welfare in an OECD DAC listed country and fit with ODA guidelines.

Deadline: 30th September 2016

Amount: Up to £7.5K

Eligibility: The activity must meet Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) criteria. The start date should be no earlier than 15 October 2016 and the funding must be spent by 31 December 2016. Funding costs are anticipated to be for travel and subsistence, room hire and administration activities.
