Abusive lawsuits and Public Participation: from SLAPPs to Solutions

This event, co-organised by the SLAPPs Research Group, the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, the Centre for Freedom of the Media, and UNESCO, brings together experts from all over the world to discuss cutting edge issues and questions concerning Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs).  Panels will explore emerging standards and good practices, how judicial interpretation, case law, and transnational judicial dialogue shape the application of anti-SLAPP laws, and effective responses to abusive litigation.
