Call for abstracts 🚨 6th International Conference Punishment in Global Peripheries

We are very excited to share the call for papers for the upcoming 6th edition of the International Conference on Punishment in Global Peripheries. After previous editions in Oxford (UK), Mumbai (India), Santa Fé (Argentina), and Cape Town (South Africa), we are now heading to Astana, Kazakhstan!

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 15 May 2026. Please have a look at the call for more information.

As usual, there is limited funding to cover speakers' accommodation, particularly those travelling from afar and those with limited/no institutional funding.

Transdisciplinary contributions from colleagues at any career stage are welcome!
