Gender, Borders, Violence: 2026 International Postgraduate Masterclass

Are you a postgraduate researcher currently enrolled in a PhD focused on research at the intersections of gender, borders and violence?
This masterclass is a mentor-led program supporting a journal publication, bringing together postgraduates working across criminology, law, sociology, gender studies, migration studies and related fields.
The Masterclass
Bringing together internationally leading scholars, this masterclass is designed to build a peer network across postgraduates enrolled across institutions, working with established scholars in the field. The main outcome from the masterclass is supporting each participant to produce a sole-authored, journal article ready for submission, via a mentoring program that will focus on developing and reviewing your work in progress alongside other career-focused sessions. There will be some pre-workshop work, including connecting with your mentor, and all participants are required to be able to commit to the full workshop program.
Mentors include Professor Marie Segrave, Associate Professor Sanja Milivojevic, Dr Shih Joo Tan, Professor JaneMaree Maher and Dr Rimple Mehta.
