The Law Faculty Open Days will be running on Monday 14, Tuesday 15, and Wednesday 16 March 2016.

Applications

Applications for the Open Days should be made by the school or college (not by individual students), and should be made online via the URL provided in the invitation. If you or your school/college has not received the invitation, please let us know.

The Application Form link will go live at midday on Wednesday 6 January. Booking will close at the end of January, or earlier if all spaces are filled. We will operate a waiting list system once fully-booked. Places are limited to prospective applicants and a school/college representative, if liked. Please note that we are always oversubscribed for these Faculty Open Days, so book early to avoid disappointment!

Each school or college is invited to attend one of the three days. Each school or college is allowed to bring up to three students plus one teacher or school/college representative. Students are also welcome to attend without a teacher. If you have more students who are interested in studying Law here at the University of Oxford, please get in touch.

You can contact us by phone on 01865 271491 or email opendays@law.ox.ac.uk.

New for 2016 – teachers’ sessions

We are inviting teachers or school/college representatives to the Open Days this year, and will be running specific sessions for teachers in the afternoons. The aim is to provide you with information that will help you support not only those students who are interested in Law, but also any student interested in applying to Oxford.

Please have the following information ready before you complete and submit the form:

  • School information, including UCAS number, full name, and address
  • Contact information, including name, email address, and telephone number
  • Teacher/representative contact information
  • Student details, including any dietary or access requirements (e.g. wheelchair access, audio equipment for hearing impaired etc.)

Accommodation and travel

We may be able to provide bed and breakfast accommodation to those who are coming some way to attend. The day is scheduled to begin at 9:30am and close at 3:30pm. Any schools who will not be able to reach Oxford for 9:30am will be offered accommodation the night before. Please indicate on the Application Form if this is the case, and we will be in touch to arrange this. In exceptional circumstances we can offer accommodation on the night after the Open Day as well.

Schools and parents should be aware that no evening programme is arranged for pupils staying overnight nor are meals provided the night before. All overnight accommodation will include breakfast the following morning and all attendees will have lunch provided on the Open Day.

Please note that the Faculty Open Days are only for prosective applicants and teachers, not parents, guardians, or other friends and family. You are more than welcome to attend the main University Open days.
