|Part-time Criminology Centre Administrator|

|Grade 5: £24,057 - £28,695 p.a. (pay award pending)|
The Centre for Criminology is looking to appoint an experienced administrator to this part-time, permanent Centre Administrator role. The postholder will act as the first point of contact for the centre, support the Director, handle space allocation, events, visitors, and other activities ‘local’ to the centre. The responsibilities and duties of this post fall into five main categories: Office Administration, Events Administration, Academic Visitors Programme, Finance and Communications. Overall, you will support the research and dissemination activities of the Centre for Criminology.
The successful candidate will have: proven experience of managing administrative processes or customer-facing work in a similar role or environment; strong organisational skills and a desire to see tasks through to their conclusion; the ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, and a willingness to resolve situations, as well as knowing when to refer issues to others; the ability to organise events and make administrative arrangements; and previous experience of working as part of a team in an office environment.
