Professor Louise Gullifer and Professor Jennifer Payne are looking for a research assistant to help with a book on intermediated securities entitled ‘Intermediation and beyond’. The work on this project will include helping to edit draft chapters for this book and ensuring that the correct style is used.
Duration and hours
The work is to start immediately and will run until about the end of June 2018. The hours will vary, but the assistant will be expected to work around 50 hours in total.
The post will report to Professor Louise Gullifer and Professor Jennifer Payne.
A general understanding of English law is essential.
A knowledge of OSCOLA and its operation is essential.
A knowledge of the operation of the capital markets and/or financial law is desirable.
Good admin and IT skills are essential.
The work can be done in any place where you have access to a good library.
This post is open to current graduate research students in the Law Faculty and the hours are in line with the restrictions on working hours for students.
Rate of Pay
This will be paid at the standard research assistant rate of £14.80/hour plus holiday pay of £1.78 = total of £16.59/hour
This post is funded by Faculty Officer allowance.
