Prof. Horst Eidenmueller is looking for a research assistant to help with analysis of market practice. Especially contract design. With respect to artificially intelligent dispute resolution processes in B2B and B2C relationships. The project aims to identify the potential of AI in this regard, but also emerging regulatory challenges.

Duration and hours

The work is to start from 1st December 2019 and will run for 6 months.

The hours will vary. On average, the assistant will be expected to work 8 hours per week.


The post will report to Professor Horst Eidenmueller.


Applicants should have good knowledge of contract law and be interested in AI applications and dispute resolution processes.


This post is open to current graduate research students in the Law Faculty and the hours are in line with the restrictions on working hours for students.

Rate of Pay

This will be paid at the standard research assistant rate of £15.37/hour plus holiday pay of £2.63 = total of £18.00/hour.
