Professor Nick Barber and Professor Richard Ekins wish to appoint a research assistant to help with the editing of a book on the 2004 European Constitutional Treaty.   

The work will include copy-editing submitted chapters, and ensuring that those chapters are in Hart Publishing’s house style.

Duration and Hours

The hours are flexible, but we would expect the assistant to work for up to 50 hours over the course of Hilary Term.

Reporting

You will be reporting to Nick Barber and Richard Ekins.

Requirements

A good knowledge of English is essential.

Knowledge of European Law is desirable.

Good administrative and IT skills are desirable.  

Eligibility

This post is open to current graduate research students in the Law Faculty and the hours are in line with the restrictions on working hours for students.
 
Rate of Pay

This will be paid at the standard research assistant rate of £14.80/hour plus holiday pay of £1.78 = total of £16.59/hour. **
 
Funding

This post is funded by the Law Faculty’s Research Support Fund.
