Shelley Griffiths is a Senior Lecturer in the Law Faculty at the University of Otago. She is a Barrister and Solicitor and a Chartered Accountant and before joining the Law Faculty she worked at an international accountancy firm in audit and taxation.

She teaches and researches taxation and capital market regulation and has published in New Zealand and internationally on these topics.  In taxation, her current interest is in the linkage between taxation administration and public law, especially the principles of constitutionality and human rights norms.
