This is a joint discussion arranged by the Socio-Legal Studies Discussion Group and the recently established Empirical Legal Studies Discussion Group. The main purpose of this session is to discuss the similarities and differences between socio-legal and empirical legal studies, with particularly focus on the research questions tackled and the methods used. To stimulate discussion, Inbar Levy will present her project on behavioural psychology and judicial decision-making. Two respondents from socio-legal studies will comment before we open to the audience.
