The Law Commission has recently launched the 2018 recruitment campaign for research assistants.
Every year, the Law Commission recruits up to 18 research assistants to help make the law simple, modern and fair.
The role is fixed-term for 51 weeks, with the possibility of renewal for a further year upon application.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to master complex areas of law and help shape UK legal reform, whilst working side by side with the Commissioners. Our research assistants develop a range of skills and gain professional experience that is hard to obtain anywhere else, and they all go onto great jobs in law and policy.
Further details on the role and eligibility can be found in the guide and on our website:https://www.lawcom.gov.uk/placements-and-internships/research-assistants/.
Prospective applicants can also ask our current research assistants questions about the role on our call-in day, between 10am and 12 noon and 2pm and 4pm on 18 January 2018.
Open the Guide for Applicants 2018 to learn how to apply.
