PAX Moot Competition

The PAX Moot is a specialized moot court competition focused on Transnational Law and Private International Law issues. In this competition, participants learn first-hand the complexities and nuances of how international Conventions and EU Regulations interact in the context of globalization. PAX Moot participants will be given a case geared towards private international law questions (jurisdictional, choice of law or recognition and enforcement issues).

The competition is comprised of a written round and oral round. Teams submit written pleadings for both the Applicant and Respondent. The teams that submit the best written pleadings then compete in the oral phase.

Oxford will enter one team of 2-4 students in 2021.
