Biography

 

Federica is a candidate for the MSt in Legal Research at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford. She is supervised by Dr Dorota Leczykiewicz, Associate Professor of Law and Official Fellow of St Peter's College.

Federica's research interests focus on private law, European contract law and comparative private law. Her current MSt work concerns contractual liability of digital platforms for malperformance by service providers.

She holds a LLM in Law from the University of Catania (Italy), where she attended the Honours College and graduated with a thesis on comparative private law under the supervision of Prof. M. Maugeri and Prof. A. Las Casas. During her university years she studied at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, at KU Leuven and at the European University Institute in Florence.

Prior to coming to Oxford, she worked as a Research Assistant in private law for Prof. A. Zoppini and Prof. M. Maugeri at University Roma Tre and the University of Catania. At Oxford, she is involved with Oxford Pro Bono Publico.
