Harry Tait holds degrees in law and history from the Universities of Queensland and Oxford, and was admitted to practice in Queensland in 2014. His current research concerns the philosophical foundations of insolvency law, and is supported by the Insolvency Lawyers' Association. In 2016-17 he was a visiting researcher at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, and is a visiting scholar at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin for 2018-19. He has been a Teaching Fellow at UCL since 2015.
