Juan is Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain). He holds a PhD in Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain) and a PhD in History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain).
He has completed research with Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense (France), Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales de Paris (EHESS, France), Université de Montréal (Québec, Canada), Università di Bologna (Italy) and is a Visiting Fellow at Università di Udine (Italy).
