Kathryn is a DPhil Candidate in Law, researching women’s experiences of pregnancy and childbirth in carceral space in England. She is supervised by Prof. Mary Bosworth and funded by a Wellcome Trust Doctoral Studentship. She also holds the Peter Helps Scholarship at Worcester College.

Kathryn completed the MPhil in Criminology at the University of Oxford in 2019, graduating with distinction. She was awarded the Roger Hood Prize for best degree performance and the Routledge Prize for best dissertation. She received her BA, with distinction, from Yale University in 2016.
