Krishnaprasad is a D Phil candidate in law at Exeter College, Oxford. He completed an undergraduate law degree from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India in 2012. Subsequently, he read for the BCL (Distinction) as a Clarendon Scholar.

Krishnaprasad's current research is on the restitution of unjust enrichment. In particular, he explores the relationship between claims based on unjust enrichment and countervailing legal obligations. His M Phil for example, examined the controversial ‘good consideration rule’. Krishnaprasad works under the supervision of Professor Robert Stevens.

Krishnaprasad is also the General Editor of the Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal and a non-resident expert at Vidhi Center for Legal Policy, an independent legal policy advisory group based in India.
