Laura completed an undergraduate combined degree in Law and Criminology at the University of New South Wales, Australia. An admitted solicitor in New South Wales, Laura worked in public and private criminal defence and as a Tax Analyst for Deloitte Sydney before moving to the University of Oxford to complete an MSc in Criminology. She is now undergoing a DPhil in Criminology at the University of Oxford.



Position Description

Laura's research focuses on the post-exoneration experience of the wrongfully convicted, exploring the issues faced and support required for individuals who have had convictions overturned after spending time in prison for a crime of which they maintained innocence.
