Biography

Manuel is currently reading for a MSt degree. His research focuses on the defence of illegality in private law.

Before coming to Oxford, Manuel studied Law at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, obtaining both an LLB and an LLM degree. He also studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science (MSc Law, Anthropology and Society).

He has experience in civil law and human rights litigation in Chile. For several years, he worked as a research and teaching assistant on a number of courses at the Faculty of Law of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
