Mikolaj Firlej

Mikolaj Firlej is an ESRC Scholar in Socio-Legal Studies at the Faculty of Law and a member of St Cross College, supervised by Prof Bettina Lange at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies (CSLS) at the University of Oxford. Mikolaj is also a research affiliate at the Centre for Technology and Global Affairs (CTGA). 

His research focuses on the intersection between artificial intelligence and law. Mikolaj thesis deals with the limitations of public international law in the light of the new type of AI advancements. 

Mikolaj holds a Master of Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. Prior to coming to Oxford, he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the College of Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in Humanities, University of Warsaw.
