Biography
Sofia Balzaretti is a DPhil candidate in International Law and Feminist Legal Theory at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) where she is writing a thesis under the supervision of Prof. Samantha Besson. She is currently registered as a Recognised Student at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, for the 2020-2021 academic year, with Prof. Linda Mulcahy as her supervisor. Her thesis aims at suggesting how can protection against (and prevention of) sexism in International and European Human Rights Law be improved.
