Public Law Discussion Group

The Public Law Discussion Group provides a forum for discussion of public law at the University of Oxford.

If you would like to present a paper on public law at Oxford we would like to hear from you. We take a broad understanding of public law, including its doctrinal, comparative, historical, theoretical, and sociological aspects. Recent presentations have ranged from the history of English administrative law to the constitutional protection of Other Dalits under the Indian Constitution.

We attract a range of distinguished speakers from all around the world – our programme for 2021-2022 will shortly be available on our Events page. If you have an idea you would like to bring to us, please contact one of our convenors.

The Public Law Discussion Group convenors for 2022-23 are Raphaël Grenier-Benoit and Timothy Endicott.

We are grateful for support from Oxford’s Programme for the Foundations of Law and Constitutional Governance.
